But it doesn’t take a computer software expert to tell you that that computer wont work for your web design project. But if you had a lump of cash to spend on a new laptop computer, what would you buy?
Apple’s Laptops
Apple’s MacBook series always scores high on consumer reviews. No doubt Apple is a leader in computer software and hardware and Macs are the tools of the trade for web designers and graphic artists. The new MacBook Pro is considered to be the be3st laptop computer out there today. Its price tag starts at $2,00o (USD)
Hardware
In terms of hardware, Apple really sets the pace. The new MacBook Pro has an excellent battery life and probably the most responsive touch pad on the market. This laptop computer introduces the new Thunderbolt port, a super fast data transfer system which Apple is hoping will replace USB technology. Another interesting development is the magnetic power cord. This laptop’s power cord attaches magnetically, so when your clumsy roommate tips over your new laptop power cable, it will simply release as opposed to dragging your computer off the table and onto the floor with a crash.
Software
This laptop’s software bundle is, of course, up to the user. The basic MacBook Pro comes with 750GB of memory and a 2.2 GHz processor, so you will certainly be able to load it up with all the software you think you need and some you don’t. One really good thing is this Mac laptop will be compatible with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point so you will be able to collaborate with PC users. Apple’s Snow Leopard operating system is considered to be on of the world’s finest OS.
